Environmental threats and neglects
Translations available in: English (original) | French

06/01/2012

1* Construction of very high buildings in place of old one-storey houses or trades, sometimes without concern to historical value. These new buildings, are constructed almost exclusively in the historical city  centers, and one next to the other, at serial rate, even before those first started have been finished, without space between them and without green zones, all of this being obvious breaches of law.
The cities are suffering or may suffer in the future very serious hygienic and epidemic hazards, traffic and pollution problems.

2* Poverty is so spread in some populations and so hard for many individuals that they can't afford to buy hygien products and health care, or to observe sanitary and medical rules and standards. Some are also so poor that, them and their houses, may become epidemy source for themselves and the community.
In addition, many become so needy that they are forced to become militia for tyrant old or new rulers, immoral politicians, or so-called thieve bands.
3* Security matters show  no real commitment in some cases from police, parties, associations and human rights groups; and even victim's family fearing job constraint etc.

4* Mutual help, even in problems and issues of better and safer human life on wisely managed earth, show to be the most obvious lesson of many years of non-democracy. At least as first step to solve individuals problemps in matters of consolidation, proximity distress healing, protection, urgent and daily needs provision, etc.
This solution seems to be forgotten, may be even excluded, or ignored.

5* Sulphur throwing to the sea and in big amounts is a serious example of environmental neglects in state facilities. This occurs in the ports in the process of loading sulphur ( in powder)on ships, using obviously bad loading means, the same ones that would be used to displace stones ! This may have been the cause of marine fauna disappearence. ( Nb: sulphur powder is one of past pesticides )

6* It seems to be difficult to deal with or clarify cases of fauna and human parasites transmission that occured in previous years.
The current proliferation of some parasites could be related to this or only to sadly favorable environmental background, that seems also worsening.

7* The use of sanguinary corporal violence is a very big concern. Especially when it is done via bands of youth and in a show background.
This kind of violence is most dangerous when used as a punishment to a considered political target. And when this is vocally expressed.

8* Silence towards violence could be an indirect means to exert violence.

9* It is highly feared that institutions and parties would displace their concern from " we serve " to " we are proving that we wanted to help the country ".
It is also feared that, in case of transitional justice, this will turn into political intimidation, provision of the task to the wrong fellows, or just elimination of ennoying folders.

10* The concern of data and discussion elimination observed with many parties is alarming. Here also, it is sometimes exerted passively, by the silence.

11* The old public facilities renewal is a major concern. It is frequent that very corroded sewage caps remain in place until a car or a man falls through it.

12* Among most important civilizational concerns, political silence and lie is alarming, such as glory fabrication and fake big sacrifice mediatisation ( knowing that actually little distress is dealt with ).
All of this may be lethal to Culture ( a wider concept than civilization ). It undermines the society phenomenon basis, justice. It undermines also the knowledge process and accumulation's angular stone: truth.

13* Hardship behaviour evaluation that showed friends failure could be, to avoid infamy, turned into tyrant diktat. Which makes that distress or unjustice is kept.

14* another patter of past criticism, is any positive evolution denial ! This is a major tool to justify lack or limitation of improvements in the present !!!

Translations available in: French (original) | English

Destruction of natural habitats of wildlife: possible health impacts
Translated into English by: sami

30/12/2011

The alteration of the natural environment takes different forms:

1 * The destruction of natural environments such as forests and prairies and steppes, whether to create new human settlements or not directly, due to remote human activity, forcing animals to move closer to areas of ancient settlement.

2 * The encroachment of human settlements on wilderness areas.
This encroachment may have several consequences including:

A / the appearance of animals, sometimes parasites or harmful or disease bearers, in the human environment ; and these are the people in precarious situations that are most unable to handle this forced cohabitation and sometimes problematic to the point of containing nuisances.

B / Extinction of species (animal, plant or microbial) either because of:
- The destruction of their natural habitat,
- Or the destruction of their source of food or water,
- Or the occurrence of predators in their environment.
This disappearance is harmful since it breaks a natural balance in favor of other species already harmful or made harmful by their proliferation thus favored exerting a threat to humans, other species, or natural resources, including flora. And yet this extinction may remove species that play a role in the cycle of organic waste generated by the living world.

For decades, the world suffers the fallout from these problems. In addition to the hyper-mediatised and conflictual-issue bird and swine flu, there was:

* The spread of malaria in Africa, which appeared even outside of wetlands etc., because of the heat and humidity in cities ...

* The West Nile virus in the U.S. in the late 90's.

* Cholera in Lima, Peru, that reached Mexico in 1991 and caused a million casualties, knowing that the germ is carried by rats and cockroaches ...

* Chile also known cholera in 90 and 92.

* The Bangladesh during the 90's years, each year with the rainy season, cholera returns, 500 000 cases, 25 000 deaths. The origin was determined as a matter of river water contaminated. 70 000 wells were dug to replace rivers. Another problem was stated, that of arsenic poisoning, that can be due to contamination of ground water by the polluted rivers .

* These are situations where almost always the cities (specifically the slums) have expanded on the expense of forests to house the very poor and ignorant people who are forced to sacrifice hygien expenses and so on, to manage their poor incomes . From there, we can schematize the origin of the half respiratory half hepatic disease observed since mid 2009 in the neighborhood, like this:
- Rats (which occurred in the vicinity of humans accidentally or premeditatedly), carriers of hepatitis and / or scabies (the latter could possibly have a respiratory form).
- Man, poor or indigent, grabs the disease germs (via fleas or contaminated clothes and belongings, or food, or farm animals infected with rats ) and keeps them due to lack of hygien.
- A sick or carrying the infection spreads it to other public places, such as cafes , when using common utensils or things (playing cards, dominoes, cigarettes, narguile or shisha, cups, etc.). Or even when embracing as a welcome, sometimes on the mouth, as for children.
(The issue of child protection in particular, the isolation of infected people and public places in whole, may have been questionable and even harmful, for some; for example, in a spirit of concern, populist or scientific, of immunization by hard life and pathology ordeal ) .

Scientific advances: Harmful consequences of the lack of application and vulgarisation in the domestic and hygienic fields in a background of poverty
Translated into English by: sami
01/01/2012

1 * The poor and middle families continue to cook in aluminum utensils, and manufacturing of these continues. Aluminum dissolves in the food during cooking and accumulates in, tissues, poisons the human body.

2 * The lack of food preservation by lack of refrigeration causes the loss of food or sometimes their absorption in a state of semi rot.

3 * Malnutrition (caused by ignorance or lack of income) reduces the resistance to disease and possible epidemy outbreaks, there sometimes being caused by lack of access to hygien standards and products.

4 * In 2009 there was an invasion of small cockroaches, and since 2007 of rats (sometimes carrying scabies and hepatitis). And these animals can be carriers of several diseases. Elites and the state have never taken any action to raise the issue. Since at least 2009 there has been precisely the proliferation of disease in many people like those transmitted by these parasites. A possible human intervention in the proliferation of parasites is also an issue .
(A hint in the form of a joke was made, at a session of the constituant assembly, to this idea by a member of the Islamic majority that would have "suffered a cold because of a virus sent by the opposition ! " And the President replied with a smile: " impossible " !
5 * In our region, cold and almost all of respiratory and digestive problems (especially vomiting and diarrhea) are explained from ancient times by the cooling of the body or the penetration of air into it (we call it " Brouda ", "hua "etc.). This spirit remains largely the same today. Thus it is not uncommon to see buses travel all windows closed despite the heat and the terrible smell of the breath of hundreds of passengers. Neither they nor the crew of this bus do not care ventilation. (Especially the latters who push their recklessness - or is it a strict observance of aristocratic duties of the office? - to letting the multitudes of passengers standing in front of the bus closed until departure).

Note: The chemicals that enter the body due to pollution or accidental or unconscious ingestion :
It is important to note that, in addition to what the public knows of the role of pollution in the occurrence of cancer and poisoning of the body (the simple accumulation of chemicals in the bodies), it can also cause infectious epidemics; this simply because the waste chemicals attack the immune system which promotes viral and bacterian attacks... weakening the body's defense. It is possible that this played a role, even in part, in the appearance of waves of avian influenza in 2006 and swine flu in 2009.
